Pokhara is the best paragliding site in the world. This is a must do activity/adventure when you are visiting Nepal, especially when you are visiting Pokhara.
It was 9am in the morning, we (me and my sister) was picked up from my hotel in Pokhara – Hotel Trekkers Inn(my favourite hotel in Pokhara, per night without breakfast I paid USD25), then was dropped to the office in central Pokhara to fill in the form and we were introduced to our pilots.
The details of the Paragliding package we took are as per below:
1) We decided to pick the experienced pilots so they will do the “Tornado Flying” which cost an additional of USD25,
2) We extend the flying time from 30 minutes to 45 minutes.
So, the total price we paid for our first flying experience is USD125.00 net per person inclusive of hotel pick up and drop off from Pokhara to Sarangkot(1425m)- The jumping point of the Paragliding Tours.
I was flying at >3000m above sea level, with stunning lake views, snow-capped mountains views and Pokhara city view. It was so beautiful, and when the pilot start the Tornado Flying – The whole world is upside down from my eyes and I can’t help but start screaming. It was so exciting and nice experience.
I can tell you – those are my best moments in my life, the happiest moments in my life. We landed safely by the Phewa Lake Side and was picked up and transferred back to hotel in Pokhara at around 12pm.
This is a must do activity if you are visiting Nepal. The best Paragliding spot of the world.
